Matt Wyatt
Before moving to Sweden I was the Clinical Lead and a Senior Psychotherapist at a UK based charity providing counselling and psychotherapy for people facing death and dying. In addition to this, I worked in private practice seeing people from all walks of life, working with people with a wide range of concerns, including depression and anxiety, loss and bereavement, and relationship issues. In my clinical work I have specialised in working with people where there are complex issues around life, death and loss; where there is complexity due to abuse, suicide, illness or mental health concerns.
In 2018 I completed my eight year training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Severnside Institute for Psychotherapy in the UK. I also have a MA in Movement Psychotherapy, a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a BA in Philosophy. I have experience of working in community and in-patient psychiatry, and mainstream and special needs education in both London and Bristol. I continue my professional development through regular supervision and through participating in further training.
